OSWA Membership
The Oregon Small Woodlands Association relies primarily on member dues and donations for its funding. We need members like you to keep OSWA going, to fund its activities and advocacy efforts, and to provide quality educational opportunities to small woodland owners and their families.

You will be able to learn up-to-date information regarding state and federal legislation that affects your property, and rules associated with its use. You will be able to connect with other small woodland owners through your local chapter, as well as on a state-wide level. OSWA also offers unique educational opportunities for members and their families, to help further generations continue to successfully use and benefit from their small woodland areas.What does an OSWA membership cost?
The Oregon Small Woodlands Association offers several kinds of memberships. Our goal is to tailor memberships to individuals and companies based on their need and level of affiliation.
Memberships and dues are renewed annually.
Regular Membership
Regular Memberships are designed for individuals, families or companies that own or manage forestland. It provides full benefits and voting privileges for up to three people at the same address and includes membership in one local chapter of your choice. Regular Membership dues are based on the number of acres owned by an individual, family or company.
Regular Membership Dues based own acres owned:
- Zero to 15 acres: $45
- 16 to 70 acres: $85
- 71+ acres: $135
Associate Membership
Individuals or companies that do not own or manage forestland may be associate members and receive OSWA mailings, but do not have voting privileges. Includes affiliation with one local chapter of your choice.
- Associate membership dues: $85.00
Sustaining Memberships
Sustaining members contribute $100 to $500 (or more) to OSWA in addition to their total computed dues. Funds from sustaining members go to support special projects and education activities.
Additional Chapter Membership(s)
Besides your primary chapter, you may join additional county chapters. This means you will receive mailings and can participate in their local activities.
