Lincoln County OSWA Howdy Neighbor Woods Tour and Farm Bureau Agriculture Tour
Tim and Susan Miller’s – Miller Farms Combining Forestry with Agriculture
Howdy Neighbor Woods Tour in Lincoln County, Saturday August 8th. Tour will focus on forest thinning strategies, a cut-to-length thinning demonstration, new Forest Practices Riparian Rules, dealing with deer and elk browse in a new forest, and interfacing forestry with agriculture. The tour will visit a grass fed beef operation. This will be a joint tour with the Lincoln County OSWA Chapter and the Lincoln County Farm Bureau. Registration is required. The Ridge Tree Farm Challenges when Managing a Young Forest
