PROGRAMS OF INTEREST TO FOREST OWNERS
Thursday, November 5th, 2009 - Cory Owens, NRCS Resource Soil Scientist, will present a program on the importance of soils in forest management and the web soil survey database. She will give step-by-step instructions on how to
a) open the web soil survey;
b) view and print a soil map;
c) explore soil information pertinent to one’s property; and
d) obtain a free custom soil resource report.
The meeting will begin at 7:00 pm, and a brief social time will follow the presentation. The meeting will be held in the Meeting Hall of First Congregational Church at 4515 SW West Hills Rd in Corvallis.
The Annual Meeting of the Benton County Small Woodlands Association will be held at noon on Saturday, January 23rd, 2010, at the Adair Club House. The program, menu, and cost are yet to be decided.
