AFLAC Benefits in 2006

Oregon Small Woodlands Association (OSWA) teams with Aflac to bring some new and valuable benefit offerings to our membership. We are pleased and excited to announce this new partnership.

Aflac is the world leader in supplemental health coverage's. Aflac's mission is to provide affordable products that help OSWA members, and consumers, pay out-of-pocket expenses that arise from illnesses or accidents. When policyholders become claimants, they process their claims quickly and fairly. And they pay cash directly to claimants regardless of any other coverage they may have.

So if you got hurt and couldn't work you and your family can still pay the bills.

OSWA now offers special association rates on many AFLAC products to anyone who purchases an individual plan through the Association. Businesses can also join this partnership.

Claims money goes to the person not to the hospital. Aflac is not a medical plan but it can help you with the other bills that occur if you are unable to work due to sickness or accident.

Some of the new benefit offerings being made available are listed below:

  • Accident Expense Plan
  • Cancer/Specified Disease
  • Hospital Confinement Indemnity
  • Specified Health Event
  • Hospital Sickness
  • Dental
  • Life
  • Long-term Care

The above benefits are being made available individually or if yourcompany gets involved through payroll deduction. A number of the above benefits have a special rate available, only for association members if you are enrolling individually. Member company employees will receive Aflac's special payroll rate through payroll deduction. And, of course, you will need to see your Aflac agent for the costs, limitations, benefits, and age categories. The purchase of Aflac products will also help OSWA financially as some of the proceeds will benefit them directly.

Call OSWA state office for details at 503 588 1813. Help yourself, your family, your employees, your forest and the Association, join OSWA and Aflac today for this great new benefit.
